We're proud to announce we've had a tremendously positive response to
our first Building the New Majority/GOPAC joint training event in
Atlantic County on June 27th. In order to expand this terrific
opportunity for candidates, managers and volunteers to learn campaign
tactics and tips from some of the best trainers in the business, we've
added a second location and date in North Jersey. The second event will
be held at the Bergen County Republican HQ in Hackensack on Saturday,
July 11th and will also feature many of New Jersey's Republican leaders.
Attendees will be trained by some of the best presenters in the nation
on activities including, GOTV, new media communication (Facebook &
Twitter). Door-to-Door activities and other topics that will help us win
in November.
Beginning at 9:00 am there will be coffee and networking for candidates
and speakers. The program will begin promptly at 9:30am with speakers
addressing the group until 10:30. There will be two training sessions
one from 10:30 am until 12:30pm and another between 1:30pm and 3:30pm.
Lunch will also be provided between 12:30pm and 1:30pm. Training will be
conducted by GOPAC national trainers on the following specific subjects:
Communications, New Media, Fundraising and Absentee Ballot Programs.
There is no charge for this event. There is limited seating and we
encourage you to register as soon as possible as this event is available
on a first come, first served basis. Please click the link below to
register online. You may also call our HQ at (609) 537- 0080 and speak
to one of our Red Shirt Volunteers.
In 2008, Building the New Majority saw 12 of 15 supported races win in
November despite the Obama numbers across New Jersey. In order to
capitalize on that momentum and continue on the path of rebuilding the
Republican brand and organization in New Jersey, this year the group is
expanding their support to include partnering with national
organizations to provide training to help make our candidates more
effective as the wage their campaigns through the fall.
If you're currently running, thinking about running, or helping a
candidate either as a staff member or a volunteer, don't miss this
important event.
